GROUPS & TEAM BUILDING · VISITOR CENTER PECKA

Your team,one place,real nature

Some places you rent; others change you. Instead of a sterile hall and a coffee break by the car park, your team gets protected nature, a river being born in front of them, a crag, forest trails and evenings around the fire — all in one place, tailored to your group.

You sleep, eat and act in the same spot.

Why Pecka for groups

Three reasons organisers come back

Logistics

Everything in one place

Lodging, home-cooked food, space to work and gather, and a full range of activities fit within a few hundred metres to a few kilometres. Less logistics, lower transport cost, more time for what you came for.

Setting

Nature that isn't staged

Pecka sits below one of the largest natural crags in Bosnia and Herzegovina, near the Vrela Sane Natural Monument, in a living village wrapped in forest. Nothing here is a set piece — the quiet and the night sky are real, and that is what groups remember.

Experience

People who know groups

The same team has gathered hundreds at the Pecka Outdoor Festival for years, runs nature schools and welcomes hikers, cyclists and climbers from across the region. Behind the hospitality there is experience, not improvisation.

All in one place

The whole stay fits inside one circle

The amphitheatre, the climbing wall, the classroom and the open kitchen are in the centre itself — zero metres from your bed. The crag is just outside the village, the Sana springs half a day's walk away. No shuttling between hotel, restaurant and activity sites.

The real story

A place that was itself a team-building project

To understand why team building lands differently in Pecka, it helps to know where the centre came from. The village school ran from 1931 to 1985, then closed — the village emptied, there were no children left, and the building was abandoned to decay.

In 2015 a group of people decided to bring it back. With their own hands they laid floors, fitted a kitchen and a classroom, turned the attic into a dormitory and equipped the upper floor. Through a shared campaign they also installed their own solar plant.

When your team arrives, it doesn't step into a rented venue but into a living example of people pulling the same way. That story runs quietly behind every stay — and it's why groups leave Pecka more connected than they arrived.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How large a group can Pecka take?

Up to 31 people in the dormitory, plus extra capacity in the mobile cabins and the campsite. For larger groups we combine all three — tell us the number and we'll check availability.

Do you organise the whole programme or only lodging?

Both. We can provide lodging and food only, or put together a complete activity programme — climbing, tours, workshops — tailored to your group.

What about food for groups?

Food is on request — from simple meals to local dishes from the open kitchen, according to the number of guests and what we agree.

Do you work outside the season?

Yes, lodging runs year-round. Activities depend on the season and the weather, so we adapt the programme to your dates.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as possible, especially for larger groups and the summer months. Get in touch with approximate dates and we'll check availability.

Is it suitable for schools and children?

It is — we have experience with nature schools, a safe space, a playground and programmes adapted to each age group.

Can we hold a presentation or a workshop?

You can — there is an open-air amphitheatre for 80 people and a covered classroom.

Rather talk it through?

Tell us who's coming, we'll arrange the rest.

If a call is easier, ring us — organising groups is what we do most.
